New York City (high)lights

Urban architecture in New York City exhibits such a perfect and geometrical grid scheme that our messy, knotty little streets should draw back in awe. But as soon as you put down your city map and take a look around, you will realize that things are not as rigid and structured as those crossroads (those perfect square angles between streets and avenues!) seem to suggest.
